NeuroWave Study Using Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV)
Over the course of one year, we conducted a study of the changes that occur after NeuroWave practice, using gas discharge visualization (GDV) technology.

A total of 102 people participated in the study. Measurements were taken twice for each participant : immediately before the practice and after its completion.

This format made it possible to compare each person not with an average norm or other participants, but primarily with their own baseline readings.

🔬 The goal of the study was to determine whether there are recurring changes in the recorded GDV parameters after completing the NeuroWave practice and how consistently these changes manifest across different participants.

What is the Kirlian effect?

The technology used is based on a physical phenomenon known as the Kirlian effect.

If an object is placed in a high-voltage, high-frequency electric field, a corona discharge may occur around it. Its glow can be recorded photographically or using a digital optical system.

During the measurement, the person places a finger on a special dielectric surface of the device. Under the influence of electrical pulses, a gas discharge occurs around the surface of the finger, the glow of which is recorded by a camera and converted into a digital image.

📌 Important: The device directly records the physically occurring gas discharge, not an “aura” or chakras as independent physical objects.

The nature of the resulting glow depends on a whole range of factors, including the electrophysical properties of the object being studied, the condition of the skin’s surface, humidity, electric field parameters, and the conditions under which the measurement is taken.

This is precisely why it is particularly important for research to take measurements under conditions that are as comparable as possible before and after a practice session.

From the Kirlian Effect to GDV Technology

Modern GDV (Gas Discharge Visualization) technology builds on the principle of Kirlian photography through digital recording and subsequent computer processing of the resulting image.

Instead of simply photographing the glow, the software analyzes the characteristics of the recorded image and converts them into quantitative indicators, graphs, and visual models.

This is precisely what allows us to compare two measurements taken from the same person and see how the recorded parameters have changed following an intervention.

What data did we analyze?

We used virtually all of the GDV software modules available to us for this study.

Specifically:

🔹 GDV Diagram —a representation of calculated parameters in the form of diagrams and comparative graphs;
🔹 GDV Screening —a software analysis of individual sectors of finger images, followed by their comparison with various functional systems;
🔹 GDV Atlas — a visual representation of the distribution of calculated indicators relative to various areas of the body;
🔹 Virtual Chakra — a software model that calculates the position and characteristics of conventional energy centers based on the obtained GDV data;
🔹 as well as other available indicators and forms of analysis provided by the software suite.

An important scientific clarification is necessary here.

The primary research data consists of recorded gas discharge luminescence and mathematically calculated image characteristics.
The correlation of individual finger sectors with organs, body systems, or chakras is part of the software’s interpretive model.

Therefore, in the following sections, we will consider separately the directly measurable indicators and the results of their software-based interpretation.

📊 How was the study conducted?

The study lasted one year.
It involved 102 people who underwent the NeuroWave practice.

Two consecutive measurements were taken for each participant:

1. Before the NeuroWave practice —the baseline condition was recorded.
2. After the NeuroWave practice —a repeat measurement was taken using the same parameters.

Thus, we obtained 102 pairs of “before–after” measurements, which allow us to analyze not only individual cases but also to identify patterns that recur across the entire study group.
In this case, each participant essentially served as their own control: the key focus of the analysis was the difference between their pre- and post-practice readings.

What exactly were we hoping to observe?

We were primarily interested in one question:
Are there consistent and recurring changes in GDV readings following NeuroWave practice?

We did not set out to use GDV as a medical diagnostic tool or to prove the presence of changes related to specific diseases.
Our objective was much narrower: to record the baseline state before the practice, repeat the measurement afterward, and observe which parameters change, in what direction, and how often the same patterns occur in different people.

It was precisely this data that formed the basis for further analysis.
How to Interpret Test Results
Below, we will examine in detail several specific cases and individual measurements of participants before and after NeuroWave. It is impractical to publish all the results and images for 102 participants on a single page, so we have selected a few illustrative examples that show exactly what the changes look like across different GDV programs.

Please note that the images presented here do not constitute the entire evidence base of the study but rather serve as illustrations of individual cases. The final metrics listed after each section are calculated based on the results of the entire study group.

It is important to note that the body’s response is individual: the direction and severity of changes varied among participants, and some parameters may have remained virtually unchanged. Therefore, below we present specific examples separately and the overall statistics for the sample separately.
🔬 GDV Energy Field: How Does the Overall Picture Change After NeuroWave?
One of the programs used in the study was GDV Energy Field.

The program generates a comprehensive visual model based on the recorded luminescence of the 10 fingers. The resulting GDV-gram segments are programmatically distributed around the body’s outline, after which quantitative characteristics of the model are calculated, including area, symmetry, entropy, and fractality.

The images shown present unfiltered measurements: on the left—immediately before the NeuroWave session; on the right— after it.
What does“area” mean?

Area is a quantitative measure of the area of the GDV field generated by the program. In other words, it is a numerical expression of how large an area the model—built based on the initial GDV graphs—occupies. In the interface, it is expressed in pixels.

For the first participant, the area increased:

11,060 → 18,463, or approximately 67%.
For the second participant:
11,122 → 22,048 —an increase of approximately 98%.

📈 Thus, in both cases presented, a marked increase in the area of the GDV model is observed after a single session.
This is also clearly visible: after the practice, the field becomes significantly more filled in around the body’s contour.

⚖️ What does symmetry mean?

The second particularly illustrative indicator is Symmetry.
This parameter characterizes the balance of the model’s area relative to the left and right sides of the body. In the system used, it is expressed as a percentage.

For the first participant:
74% → 85%

For the second:
67% → 90%

In other words, after the session, there is not only an increase in area but also a significant improvement in the left-right symmetry of the constructed model.
The change is particularly pronounced in the second participant: the difference is 23 percentage points.

👤 What changes visually?

The images reveal another interesting feature.
Before the session, the contour in both examples appears more fragmented and heterogeneous: there are noticeable areas with relatively limited light emission and, conversely, isolated pronounced protrusions.

After the session, the distribution becomes visually more continuous along the body’s perimeter, its area increases, and the left-right asymmetry becomes less pronounced.

This is particularly evident in the second example: initially, the model exhibits pronounced unevenness, whereas after the session, it forms a significantly wider and more symmetrical contour around the silhouette.
🌿 What does a “no filter” measurement mean?

Both photos below are labeled “no filter.”

In materials related to the GDV system, no-filter measurements are traditionally used to assess the more labile component of the GDV pattern and are sometimes interpreted by the method’s authors as being related to the psycho-emotional state; while filtered measurements are seen as more closely related to the physical level.

However, it is important to maintain scientific accuracy here: such a psycho-emotional interpretation is part of the GDV model and does not mean that the device directly measures emotions or psychological state.

In our study, the most objective level of comparison is the parameters calculated directly by the program.

And in these two examples, the following are simultaneously observed after NeuroWave:

📈 an increase in the area of the GDV model;
⚖️ an increase in its left-right symmetry;
⭕ a more continuous visual distribution around the body’s contour;
🔄 a reduction in pronounced heterogeneity between individual regions.

Thus, both presented cases demonstrate a pronounced change in the characteristics of the GDV Energy Field immediately after the NeuroWave practice.
📊 GDV Energy Field — Results for the Entire Sample
Among the 102 participants after one NeuroWave session:

89% showed an increase in the area of the GDV model;
73% showed an increase in the symmetry index;
60% showed both an increase in area and an increase in symmetry;
in 38% of cases, one of the indicators remained relatively stable, or the area and symmetry changed in opposite directions;
only 2% showed changes in opposite directions for both indicators.

Thus, the most frequently observed changes after a single NeuroWave session were an increase in the area of the GDV model, an increase in its symmetry, or a combination of both changes.
🟣 GDV Virtual Chakra: Balance and Activity of Energy Centers
A separate part of the study involved an analysis using the GDV Virtual Chakra program.
This is one of the most visually intuitive modules in the suite. The program processes GDV readings from all 10 fingers and, based on the Ayurvedic model built into it, calculates the parameters of the seven energy centers—the chakras.
In the image, each center is represented by a colored sphere.

The size of the sphere reflects the normalized energy index ofthe correspondingcenter, as calculated by the program.

Its position relative to the central vertical line reflects the calculated asymmetry. The closer the sphere is to the central axis, the smaller the difference between the indices used by the program for its left and right components.

📌 Therefore, when interpreting these images, we look at two independent parameters simultaneously : the size and position of each of the seven centers.

What do we see before NeuroWave?

In the measurements presented prior to the session, the picture is markedly heterogeneous.
For the first participant, several centers are significantly offset from the central axis. The blue, navy, and violet levels are particularly noticeable, and the lower centers are also positioned with a pronounced lateral shift. The sizes of the spheres vary significantly.

For the second participant, the baseline picture is even more striking: the violet upper center is located far from the central line, the blue center is also shifted, and the yellow center is located far on the opposite side. The blue sphere, however, is very small.

In other words, from the outset, we see both the unevenness of the calculated activity of the centers and a pronounced asymmetry in their arrangement.
✨ What happens after a single session?

After NeuroWave, the visual pattern changes very significantly.
For the first participant, several centers are noticeably moving closer to the central axis, and the sizes of a number of spheres are increasing. The change in the blue level is most evident: before the session, the sphere was significantly shifted to the right; afterward, it is practically on the central line.

The size ratio of the other centers also changes: after the practice, they become visually more pronounced, and the distribution appears more uniform.

For the second participant, the change is even more noticeable.
After the session, virtually the entire vertical system aligns along the central axis.

The violet, blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange, and red centers are located either directly on it or very close to it. At the same time, the size of most spheres increases, especially those that were small before the session.

Within the program’s algorithm, this corresponds to both a decrease in the calculated asymmetry and a change in the normalized energy values.

🌈 The seven levels calculated by the program

From bottom to top, Virtual Chakra displays:
🔴 Muladhara
🟠 Svadhisthana
🟡 Manipura
🟢 Anahata
🔵 Vishuddha
🔵 Ajna
🟣 Sahasrara

Each of these is calculated not through direct physical measurement of the chakra. The program uses specific sectors of the GDV graphs of the fingers and, based on a predefined model, converts their parameters into indicators for the corresponding center. For example, the developer links the calculation of Muladhara to the lower part of the second finger, Manipura to the third, Anahata to the fifth, and so on.

📊 What do these two examples show?

Despite the two participants’ completely different initial patterns, after NeuroWave we see a unidirectional visual dynamic:
→ a decrease in the lateral displacement of a number of centers;
→ the spheres moving closer to the central vertical axis;
→ an increase in the size of a number of initially small spheres;
→ a more uniform ratio among the seven levels;
→ a more ordered overall configuration of the model.

It is particularly interesting that this does not involve a single parameter: the program calculates activity and asymmetry separately, and changes in both components are noticeable in the images taken after the session.
🌈 GDV Virtual Chakra — Results for the Entire Sample
Among the 102 participants after NeuroWave:

74% showed a decrease in the overall calculated asymmetry of the energy centers’ distribution;
68% showed that most centers had moved closer to the central axis;
91% showed an increase in the calculated energy indicators of centers that were initially less pronounced;
In 63% of cases, both centering and a more uniform distribution of indicators were observed simultaneously;
in 9% of cases, no pronounced positive dynamics were observed according to these criteria.

Overall, 74% of participants showed a more centered and balanced configuration of the Virtual Chakra model after a single session compared to the baseline measurement.
📊 GDV Diagram: Distribution of Indicators by Organs and Systems
The GDV Diagram program analyzes data from all ten fingers and distributes the calculated GDV parameters across sectors that the software model associates with various organs and systems of the body. The result is compared to the predefined reference range for a “practically healthy person.”

The diagram shows the left and right sides of the body separately. Among the analyzed areas visible in our image are the cardiovascular system and coronary arteries, the liver, kidneys, intestines, spleen, pituitary gland and hypothalamus, thyroid gland, immune and nervous systems, urogenital system, spine, throat, jaws and teeth, and other areas.

🟢 The green zone represents the program’s reference range. The further a specific sector’s indicator deviates from this range—either inward or outward—the greater the deviation calculated by the program for the corresponding functional zone. The program itself describes such diagrams in terms of relative hypo- and hyperfunctional states.
What can be seen in this example

In the baseline measurement taken before the session, the red line is very uneven: there are numerous deep dips relative to the reference range. Particularly pronounced heterogeneity is visible in the sectors that the program associates with the coronary vessels, the cerebral region, the cardiovascular system, specific sections of the intestine, the spine, and the nervous and urogenital systems.

After the session, the line becomes significantly smoother and, in many sectors, approaches the reference range. In other words, the overall pattern of GDV parameter distribution becomes less contrasting and more homogeneous across different functional zones.

The main change here is not an “improvement in a specific organ,” but rather a reduction in the severity and number of deviations from the program’s reference range following NeuroWave treatment.

📈 GDV Diagram — Results for the Entire Sample
An analysis of the charts of 102 participants after NeuroWave:

showed that 68% had a decrease in the number of significant deviations from the program’s reference range;
showed that for 51%, the indicators for a greater number of functional zones approached the reference range;
showed that for 63%, the distribution of indicators across different sectors became more even;
In 13% of cases, no significant changes were observed;
In 3% of cases, the number or severity of deviations increased.

Changes were most frequently observed in sectors that the program correlates with the nervous system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, endocrine system, spine, and other functional areas.
🧠 GDV Psycho Diagnostic: Attention and Cognitive Measures
A separate section of the study focused on calculated psychophysiological and cognitive parameters. The GDV Psycho Diagnostic program analyzes GDV data and generates metrics related to attention, intellectual potential, and problem-solving efficiency.
In the example provided, we compared results from before and immediately after a single NeuroWave session.

After the session, the profile changed as follows:

Intellectual potential: 81 → 74
Both values remain in the “high” category .
Attention productivity: 93 → 47
The indicator moved from the high range to the medium range.
Effectiveness in solving logical problems: 9 → 9
No significant changes were recorded.
Concentration: 1 → 2
A slight change within the “below average” range .
Errors: 88 → 95

The score remained in the high range of the program’s scale.

📌 Unlike in previous modules, we do not see a consistent trend across all parameters here.Some indicators remain virtually unchanged, while others change quite significantly.

And this is important for interpreting the study: immediately after intensive physical practice, a person may be in a completely different functional state than before—more relaxed, less focused on performing cognitive tasks, or requiring time for subsequent integration.

However , based on a single measurement , it cannot be concluded that NeuroWave improves or impairs intelligence, memory, or attention. Such a conclusion would require validated neuropsychological tests and a control group.

Therefore, we view the Psycho Diagnostic results primarily as an additional indicator that the participant’s overall psychophysiological profile changes after a session, rather than as an independent assessment of their intellectual abilities.
🧠 GDV Psycho Diagnostic — Results for the Entire Sample
According to the results of the Psycho Diagnostic module following NeuroWave:

, 44% of participants showed a change in their intellectual potential score;
18% showed a change in attention productivity;
44% showed a change in concentration;
56% showed a change in logical problem-solving efficiency;
61% showed a change in the error rate.

At the same time, 93% of participants demonstrated a change in at least one of the five cognitive parameters calculated by the program, while no significant changes were recorded in 7% of participants.

Unlike Energy Field, Virtual Chakra, and Diagram, the results of Psycho Diagnostic were more varied in nature: individual indicators could increase, decrease, or remain stable.
✨ What might this mean for a person?
If we translate the study’s findings from the language of graphs into the language of sensations, we see the key point: after NeuroWave, a person’s state changes noticeably. For most participants, the field becomes more symmetrical, centered, and uniform, and the number of pronounced deviations decreases, and the indicators for individual zones tend toward a more balanced

Within the NeuroWave framework, we view these dynamics as a possible reflection of a reduction in accumulated physical tension and the body’s transition from a state of constant mobilization to a more relaxed and balanced state. In the language of the GDV energy model, energy distribution becomes more uniform, symmetrical, and centered, and pronounced imbalances between individual zones decrease.

🌿 For a person, this transition may manifest as a feeling of greater lightness in the body, relaxation, inner stability, freer movement, and an overall improvement in well-being. It is precisely these changes in state that can subsequently influence how a person perceives their body, copes with stress, and recovers from it.

At the same time, cognitive indicators after the practice showed significantly less consistent changes. This aligns well with the very focus of NeuroWave: the practice is primarily aimed not at a short-term increase in intellectual productivity, but at physical relaxation, the redistribution of tension, and a change in a person’s overall functional state.

Thus, the results obtained support our hypothesis that NeuroWave facilitates a transition to a more balanced state.
